We use native speakers from the country where the language is based, to make sure you hear the words as they should be said. Each sentence is recorded twice, firstly at normal speed and then a bit slower with more emphasis on pronunciation. This is really important when you are starting to learn a new language - start with the slower speed and gradually move up to the normal rate.
